How many of you have the Mora 2010?

I had one but gifted it away....I kept my 2K however..

I like the handle, but I can't bring myself to spend the extra bills for that blade when the standard ones work so well.

Even tho it's my high school colors, I can't find no love for that handle.

Are you talking about the 2000 or the 2010? :D

I read somewhere that Mora is coming out with a 2010 with black and military green (instead of yellow). I might try one then, but they're still pretty steep for a Mora. The puke green overlay doesn't do it for me on the 2000.

Here's a question though, albeit thread drift... On the 2000 could you just peel off that puke green stuff and put on some regular old inner tube? Or is it attached pretty securely?

Yeah, it seems like Mora is heading somewhere, but whether we will like it or not, remains to be seen...

They are out, you can find them on the bay.

Pretty securely, would be my bet. Or, you could buy the NeverLost version, which is Black Rubber on Orange.

I stripped the rubberized part of the handle off of a 711 so I could add a slightly less grippy paracord wrap. On the 711 the core of the handle is red or green hard plastic with the same contours as the exterior. I just carved most of the rubber off and sanded the rest. I should have been more careful as I cut into the hard plastic in a couple of spots. I'll try to add a pic sometime today.

I think I will order one today. I have been putting that one off for some reason. As long as a knife performs the way that I want, I couldn't care less what it looks like. There are seldom any beauty judges in the woods.:D

By the looks of it, I'll stick to the TMNT 2000 because of it's simplistic handle. I think the 2010 model would be tadbit mote uncomfortable in reverse (I don't mean the stab grip).

I don't have one, mostly because I hate rubber handles. Don't have a 2000 either. The 510s work just fine for me.

I have the Mora 2K and a JRE Bushcrafter sheath with a firesteel. I like it for what it is but didn't pay anywhere near retail for it. It rides in my truck bag with a bunch of other stuff (cigars, flask of single malt, fire kit, FAK, 550 cord/duct tape, snacks, ammo for my pistol - "important" stuff), primarily because it's stainless and is subject to temp variations (therefore carbon is prone to rust very quickly)...

I've been tempted by the 2010, it has the same handle as the 711/911 series, which I love. Very comfy for me. But I just picked up the 2000 for a nice price, and I think I'll stick with it and my All-Around for now. Besides, it does seem like the 2010 is a bit pricey for what you get...
