I have question for my fellow forum members, how many of you own a pocketknife that belonged to your Grandma?

I have two that belonged to my Grandma, one of them is a key chain size single bladed folder that has dark red grips.

The other one is a key chain size electricians folder with white grips, these were her EDC knives and that show signs of hard use very use.

Both my Grandmothers barely touched a pocket knife, let alone a kitchen knife. Both had live in help who took care of kitchen duties. That said, both my Grandfather's were exceptional chefs, who spent their weekends preparing exotic cuisines, which I'm assuming explains why my mother and most of my aunts were uber wonderful chefs; of course, my Mom did say she learned a lot from the live in housekeeper, as well as her Father.

I had a Swiss Army Knife my Grandmother gave to me that she carried every day, but ended up trading it off a while back.

Produced in northern Vermont by my kin in the 1870s and passed along through the family kitchen drawers, including my grandmother's ever since then.
