well you will be glad to know I have completely destroyed my reserves of cash buying up collections and starting a new one , so I have no power to shark even if the best knife ever showed up--I hope to see some cool stuff as the shops get back in gear will be watching, but not buying!

I'm in the same canoe as Gehazi. I always say if you want something bad enough you'll find a way to get it but I'd have to be pretty durn creative right about now. And I'm kind of in withdrawal. I nice knife in a triangle box would really be nice right about now.
 
Bawanna, I know the feeling. Been letting some of my khukuris go in order that the savings for a custom HI kuk builds up and I'm happy to say that we be successful. Down to my last 5 and will only keep 2 of those. Torn between two models and am hoping The Man Upstairs will help me out of my dilemma. The wife just hates it when I run around like a chicken with his head cut off over something.
 
Gehazi has a lil secret that will sink that canoe! I aint saying nuthin but since Phillll opened the kittycat bag...;)

Bawanna, I'm down to two models and still undecided. Want a couple of custom features that will not alter the looks at all, but make it more personal for me. Haven't decided on who I want to make it, either. Guess after I finish smokin' a couple more of them Ioway corn silk stogies, my head oughtta be cleared up and I'll become enlightened!
 
That top one and the bbs or so nice! That one on top looks darb or dha. You know were going to ask if they are all Buras?
 
yeah they are all bura HI blades, the hasiya is a sher, 1st falcatta by bura, 2nd by lok

HI espada, HI backsword, HI indonesian sword, HI falcata, HI hasiya, and a bura movie model--will take more pictures when they arrive
 
Hehe, So you did let the cat outta the bag eh Gehazi? Well then time to say a serious Congratulations. That is one heck of a beautiful bunch of additions to what was already an impressive collection. That HI "mandau" as you referred to it is the strangest yet coolest HI blade I have seen. Guessing it weighs in the 48-52 range? Yep, very very awesome.
