carry companion knives such as an Izula with an RC-4 etc.? If so... What RAT knife combination do you carry & how do you carry them?

I carry my Izula everyday! But when I go hiking I have the Izula around my neck and my RC-3 on the left shoulder strap of my backpack.

I carry my Izula in the pocket of the RC5 sheath, along with the fire starter.

As bad as this sounds, I rarely carry a RAT knife due to carrying everyone else's stuff for testing in the magazines.

I also really like my Blind Horse Bushcrafter paired up with my Blind Horse Bushbaby. Bushcrafter on belt with a dangler and bushbaby with a neck sheath.

I always have at least 3 tools on me, a FB, a folder, and a Leatherman Charge TTi. I will admit shamefully, that I have not been EDCing my Izula for quite some time. I used to do the RC-4SE, Izula, and Leatherman every day. I replaced the Izula with a Rat Model 1 folder. I've also moved the RC-4SE to my day bag (man purse) and one of my knives (Fletcher Knives) has been riding on my side. I still have the RC-4SE with me everyday, as I go nowhere without my day bag.

I always have a substantial folder clipped inside a pocket and, if necessary, it would probably be suitable as my only knife in a pinch. As a rule, I also have at least 2 or 3 other knives (fixed blade) nearby, in a pack and/or in my truck.

For those that use piggyback sheaths, does it concern you that you might lose both knives if the sheath is lost/torn away?

On me I carry a Gerber MT, a 84mm Alox Lumberjack (keychain), and today it happens to be a GAK, but it could be any SAK/GAK of my collection. And a Kershaw Mini Cyclone folder.

In my EDC/BOB I have a Gossman PSK, a Fireman SAK, an Izula, a woodsman SAK, any number of SAKS, a SOG MT.

In my office kit that stays in my desk draw, I have a Trekker SAK, a Gossman PSK, a RC-3p, a Mora, a Swisstool, a swisscard, a ALOX woodsman, and ALOX lumberjack, a Warhog folder.

I never realized how many blades I have around all the time, but it seems like I am always grab one or another for something here at work.

Well it depends ,when Im working I usally carry one of my folders, but on my free time I carry my Izula on my belt. I also carry my HI CAK when I have heavy work to do ( chopping through trees and cars:D)
I should be receiving a package today containing an Rc-4 and 5....so my carry habbits may be changing.

I carry my Izula horizontal on my right hand backpack strap (using Tek-lok)for left hand withdrawal and RC6 on hip using a Spec-ops Survival sheath.

I live in California, so I can't carry a fixed blade. I have my Microtech Amphibian for work, and UTX-75 Auto that is CA legal for all other occasions.

In the woods It would be Rc-3 or Rc-4 on the hip Sak in the pocket Izula round the neck.
At work Sak in the pocket Leatherman Charge on the hip with Mag lite
Rc-4 in the bag

Hiking: Izula attached to Pygmy Falcon II and RC-4 on right side carry.
Everyday: Izula in bag with Gerber Diesel multi-tool

Right now I carry a folder or Leatherman with my RC6. I will be getting an RC3 after I get Izulas for my girls and an RC4 for the Mrs.
Most of the time I carry my knives separately but will probably get a piggyback rig for the 6/3 combo.
I think they look cool.

I couple some multitool with the RAT blade that I take when I go to the woods. It is usually a Leatherman Charge TTi. Also have a SAK with me at all times in the bush.

For some reason I haven't carried 2 RATs at the same time(very often). I like to give each one its own day, so to speak.
