I'm not so patiently waiting for my first Sebenza, and I'm already thinking about getting another. How many Sebenzas should a guy own? It's a lofty goal but I figure six should be a minimum. That's 1 plain, 1 with grahics, and one with inlays in each size.

I'm happy with my plain large 21. Really don't like the look of inlays or graphics.

One cannot own enough Sebenzas. That being said I'm very happy with the 2 I have!

I'v got 2 (1 small regular, 1 large regular) but I will probably pick up one or two more.

I still want a BG-42 Seb. and perhaps one of the more subdued decorated ones.

I have 2 Sebenzas. My First is a Large Regular with BG-42 blade. My Second is a small regular with the "vines" design with a S30V blade. My favorite is the Large, but I have been carrying my small. When I first got my small, I was "surprised" at how much smaller it really is. I have had it about a week now and it has really grown on me. Plus, when I carried my Large, I got it out to open some mail and my wife jumped back like I just pulled a machete out of my pocket....lol. She does not do that when I use the small. I do like the BG-42 steel better though. Mine came with factory edge. The guy had it is storage since new, 1999. I cut everything I could think of, paper, lots of cardboard, wood, food prep on cutting board. The knife still shaves hair sooooooooo easily. Unbelieveable !!! I sharpened up my small with S30V blade as it did not have factory edge. It shaved hair and was scary sharp when done. I have used it all week for about the same thing minus the wood, and it will not shave hair now. I DO like the older style blade that has more of a belly and the slight hump on the spine. I am interested to see the new blade steel chris reeve is coming out with soon..... I am definately looking for another.....whatever catches my eye.....lol

currently i have two. one "fizzed" classic, and one "p" decorated.

i have owned 3 others, ug lge reg, lge classic, small classic.

sold the lge classic, fedex lost the small classic, and i lost the ug in our nation's capitol.

One for each hand...

and no, I'm not a ninja. ;)

I used to work with folks with various disabilities (I still see them, but I have a different job now), and I have seen what can happen to the human body (and mind) due to disease or accidents. At present, I am in reasonably good health (knocks on wood) and can use either hand. Should I ever lose the ability to manipulate objects with one hand, I would like to be able to use those same objects with the other. There's probably a lot more to think about should I ever become disabled, but I know that I would still want to be able to use a knife. Kinda weird to think about such things, but I can't help it.

I just have a small regular that I got a few months ago. The regular was the one I liked, even though the man told me they where going to be discontinued, not like me really to opt for the discontinued item, but I just like it more than the new 21. The large would be too big for me as it will stay inside my pocket. Other Sebenza sure a small one with the American flag would be nice, but a wife and three kids, it’s just not going to happen. Good luck with your new knife, Jake.

I have one BG-42 large "new" model from 1997. I bought it for the last few years of Army service before I retired. I put it through a lot and it still comes back for more. The S30V may be good but anyone who "uses" the BG-42 version will wonder why the shop made the switch! Chris Reeve's BG-42 is really some amazing steel.

Im a big fan of BG-42, I have a couple of knives with that steel but not a Seb.... yet.

A good friend of mine has a mint BG-42 Seb. sitting in his safe doing nothing.
It dosnt matter how much I threaten him with bodily harm or how many family members I kidnap he will just not part with it :grumpy:

Glad to hear so many people say 1 or 2. Maybe there's still hope for me and I won't have to sell my vehicle after all. Then again, taking to bus to work wouldn't be so boring if my pockets were full of Sebenzas.

I have had a combo edge large micarta, s30v large micarta (also bought a stainless damascus blade for it,) small plain classic, small reg. Graphic BG42 (had it Krein'ed,) small reg plain jain BG42, a reg large stainless Damascus graphic, a large reg tanto.... And a reg large plain jain BG42.

Out of all of them I only have the large reg plain jain bg42 left. I liked the others but for some reason I never got attached to them so they went up the road for some reason or another. Kind of in the market for another small reg plain jain bg42 again. Traded it off for a Mint CC SNG. Dale you want to let that one come back home :D

I have 2 at the moment, I guess someday I will have about six.
I'd like to eventually get a couple of inlaid, and a small and large of each kind, oh boy!
