Ok, I just had a very unique discussion with a blade forums member in regards to the "Terror Monkey" he wanted to trade me. He sent me a pic of a desert camo boss street and at a glance I told him it was not a terror monkey, it was a boss street... later when I looked at the pics.. It did actually say Terror monkey on the blade..???? I know I owned a terror monkey once with grayish camo bowie style blade with a "brass knuckle" style guard on it.. quite an expensive item I won on the vet day ganzaa. to my surprise last knob creek, there was another "terror monkey" that came out in desert camo.. I"ll call Terror monkey II.. fairly inexpensive at the show cost. Then came the Boss street model, which I never noticed had "terror monkey" written on the side. looking at the sales forum, some have called this a Boss street with tm camo.. If so then what is the real name of the middle one that has the 6" blade on it? Will there be more terror monkeys along with way? will there be a Fusion steel heart Terror monkey?? It gets a bit confusing when trying to describe ones blade to another person, what you actually have.
Any info about the history of Terror MOnkey and how so many blades came to be called by the same name..

6, IIRC...

TM BM-e
TM SH-e
TM NO-e...

TM AA

TM DSF (& DSSF?)
TM BS

:)

I've have a Boss Street Terror Monkey I won from Wicked Sharp, and it doesn't have desert camo as you describe. It does have tan scales, but the coating is mostly black, grey, white... with no tans or browns at all.

Jaxx(or any that know)...Did all of the TM's have this same camo?

I was thinking they did, but I've never had one, and can't remember all the pics I've seen of them.

IICR, the original 3 and maybe the AA were more of a jungle shadow camo style while these others are more of a DSC or USC. Someone who owns them all could probably answer this better than me. :)

I didn't care for the serrations

So how many more are there going to be??? :-)

Hard telling, as far as I remember, the Terror Monkey just means it was kind of a military overrun. I'm sure there's going to more in the future.

Wow, I've never seen that kind of Terror Monkey before! a large ergo, with serrations and a combat point.. Sweet... SO> how do you differentiate your terror monkeys when referring to them? So what's the "base" name for the long 6" tm that came out last knob creek?

That would be the Desert Storm Fighter (DSF).

The BOSS Street and DSF Terror monkeys were a show special at last Spring's Knob Creek show. I didn't love the DSF's balance, but sometimes think I should have snagged a couple of those BOSS Streets. I decided that I liked the Competition Finish BWMs and (of course) Bama Clay Swamp Rats even more though, so that's what I went with. I was also able to pick up a custom shop Vex (note to Swamp Rat: if you have any more of those, please send them in a couple weeks -- I'll be looking for them).

This was the only Terror monkey I thought was out there until the new ones came out... then I saw the older ones, which I really like... So the term terror monkey kinda goes with the camo pattern... except this one is not desert.
Ergo, Fusion, Nuclear meltdown, kinda like a different language eh?

No. but when you hold it in your hand you certainly understand why it is called Terror Monkey :thumbup:
