How many times?

It happens to all of us&#8212;regardless of how long we have been using knives and tools.

I got cut a few days ago when cutting/quartering/peeling an apple for lunch.

Right after my swamp rat M6 (1/4" thick by 6" long blade) slipped out of my hands and I decided to catch it. Catching a knife by the blade is a bad idea. Just let it fall.

What bugs me is most of the time there's a little voice in the back of my head saying, "you shouldn't be doing this". Does that stop me?

No. I should start listening to the voices.
