Since you began handling knives how many times have you told yourself, "I'll never do anything that stupid again"?

I've said it many times........
but usually after paying for a purchase I don't really need.:D
 
Last time I said that was while my wife was driving me to the ER.
 
It happens to all of us&#8212;regardless of how long we have been using knives and tools.

I got cut a few days ago when cutting/quartering/peeling an apple for lunch.
 
Right after my swamp rat M6 (1/4" thick by 6" long blade) slipped out of my hands and I decided to catch it. Catching a knife by the blade is a bad idea. Just let it fall. ;)
 
Twice, stitches both times, so when I do it, I do it good!

It's been a while....

Learned that a knife can do ALMOST everything!
 
What bugs me is most of the time there's a little voice in the back of my head saying, "you shouldn't be doing this". Does that stop me?

No. I should start listening to the voices.
