whos got those scuffs from the handles on the blade? i dont think my bm 42a is loose because going from clays site its just perfect

I've got sharpening scratches but no handle to blade scratching, at least not yet. I've had this one for 7 months or so and I used to have another and it didn't have that prob either.

Mine had no scuffs for the first five months or so after I got it, but then the pins got a bit loose and there were a few scuffs. All I did was add a little Loc-Tite and tighten the pins to the desired tightness, and then let it dry. But be sure you use the right kind, there's one type of Loc-Tite that works so well you'll never be able to loosen the pins.

Fortunately these scuffs are easy to remedy with a dremel tool and a cotton polishing wheel (and a little polishing compound) I put a nice simi-polished finish on my blade and have not seen the scuffs sense then.

i think most of us tightened our handles first (if they came too loose, that is) before much serious flipping went down. but the dremel idea is a good fix.
peace.

I've noticed it on mine...
Both sides. the blade actually slides up against the bite handle. It has made several marks, but I can take care of them later.
I was kinda suprized that Benchmade would make a knife that would do this. Even with extended, repeated flipping. Isn't that what Balisong Testers are for?*
