How many knives do you carry on your person in a regular day and why?
and do you switch your knife carry up for weekends?
 
Two all the time. Primary blade in front right pocket and an HAK on my keys in my back left pocket.
 
Same. I carry my defence knife in my front right and my edc knife back left or back right pocket
 
I have 1 that i carry consistently, a ZT 0200. there is a definite possibility i will be picking up a knife to be a slicer and carrying that as well.
 
Always carry my LM Wave. Along with that I've been swapping between my ZT0200, Manix 2, and Kershaw Rake. BTW all awesome knives :D
 
I just carry one in my front pocket, but whenever I have my backpack with me I have a Victorinox Swisschamp in it as well.

At work, I carry:
-SAK Classic on my car keys for the toothpick
-Leatherman Micra on my house keys for the screwdrivers
-Something with a 2" blade and an opened length of <4.5" for cutting. (Work regulations on maximum pocket knife size.)

When not at work I carry:
-SAK Classic on my car keys for the toothpick
-Leatherman Micra on my house keys for the screwdrivers
-A traditional in my right front pocket, which takes care of most cutting chores.
-A one-hander in my right back pocket. Because I can.
 
Only one in my pocket and one in my pack. Also always have a multitool in my pack. I usually end up carrying my latest acquired knife for a long time before I switch back to my older ones.
 
At work I carry a folder in the RFP, a Multi Tool on my belt, and depending on what type of work I'm doing I will also carry a small fixed blade on my belt.

When I'm not at work I carry one folder in my RFP.
 
I almost always carry a SD specific knife, and a multy tool of some sort. Depending on the job, and the discretion needed, y might go whit a large fixed blade, a medium sized folder (a resent thing for me) or even a small tomahawk. It all depends on the dress code or lack of one, during my work day.




Something I do tend to carry a lot is that little cold Steel mini pal. I tuck it behind my belt buckle, never had to use it, but id imagine it can come in handy if I&#8217;m ever in a head lock.
That balisong and switch knife is an example of what I carried during my short time doing under cover work. Id carry does things to pass myself of as a Cholo. It worked most of the time.:rolleyes:





I tend to carry my SD knife on my left side as a back up to my hand gun, setting up my knife for an inverted draw. :thumbup:


 
Firearm strong side carry; ZT 0300 or Cold Steel Spartan weak side pocket or belt; Spyderco Native in S30V strong side pocket.
 
Usually two. A SAK Farmer always, and I rotate the EDC a bit. Small koyote, Izula, maybe an Opinel, possibly some other folder. Depends on what I grab.
 
Usually two. A large folder and either a small fixed or one of my many smaller folders I rotate through.

Currently my EDCs are Kershaw Lahar in VG10 and Spyderco Persistence. Picked them both up from bennyb in the exchange.
 
Two knives, two tools.
Esee izula/ tops c.a.t horizontally at 11 o'clock or 5 o'clock for heavier duty work.
BM 556/ kershaw leek/ opinel no. 8, etc in front right pocket for lighter work.
Leatherman skeletool in left pocket for pliers, screwdriver bottle opener. (blade hasnt seen use in a looooong time).
Victorinox mini cause its so damn cute.
 
Usually two. Wenger SI in LFP (I find the tools come in handy) and some kind of locking blade in my RFP. These days I find myself alternating between a Caly 3 and BM940. I also carry a PS4 on my keychain.
 
2-4 depending on if you count a leatherman as a knife. I rarely ever use my juice's knife blade tho. The Leatherman always goes inside the front left pocket no matter how I am dressed.

Also depends on if I am wearing my Taclite Pro pants or not since they have a dedicated knife pocket and slanted back pockets. Those slanted back pockets are covenient as hell for a knife being reinforced and ending right by the normal front pocket clip location. With the 5.11 pants back right and left pockets have a knife and the knife pocket on the front of the right leg is used.

I usually carry a food prep knife I keep sharp and clean. Usually consists of a more expensive favored knife. I also usually carry my SOG Flash II or UKPK in a left side pocket as the cheap knife should I need to thrash a blade by scraping or worse. Then if I am in the 5.11 I toss a random knife in the knife pocket. Currently it's the Subrosa.
 
A Sebenza in my pocket. Six decades on this planet and I've never needed more than one knife when out and about.

I do keep a Vic Classic on my keychain, but I only have it when I'm driving a car that actually requires a key.
