if you love it -go up to oswego ny and the tug hill area -
im enough south that it hasnt been that bad only a foot and a half or so-

in a few areas around oswego they had 60"-70" plus from sat to yesterday and it hasnt stopped yet today-

some places on the hill have even more-

would you like 100 plus inch's of snow in less than a week?
lake effect snow is a bitch-lol

I used to like snow, but not when I have to drive 100 miles roundtrip to work.
It is no fun spending 1 1/2 hours clearing the drifting snow in my driveway. We got 5 inches yesterday, but that meant 1 foot of the stuff in the driveway.

My face was numb when I got back in the house. I couldn't feel my nose.

The drivers who wound up off the road yesterday don't like the snow. I passed 6 cars in the ditch while driving home, all with drivers in the cars. They people who died in an accident across town last night like it even less.

The pooch doesn't know where to take a ..... in the snow. His legs are too short for the snow, and I hate walking the dog through snow when it is +3. I hate it even more when the temps drop below zero....

Tonight is going to be better - I hope.

Winter is installing slowly, but certainly.

This week is COLD in Québec. -40°C with the wind.

In December, Yangdu had more snow than we did (those khuks in the snow were nice). Now it's more "normal".

I was born during a snowstorm, good thing my mom made it to the hospital...
I learned to drive in the snow. I learned to love snow.

I prefer it to cold wetness that's for sure. We could use a break here, there hasn't been a snow-free day for two weeks!

Spent a couple days in the hospital in Sonora, a zillion years ago after a cross country skiing accident at Lake Alpine. Hypothermia is a bitch.
Snow is very pretty to look at and be around in a casual kind of way.
I do not seek it out recreationally and shudder at the mere thought of commuting long distances in it. Better than continous cold rain, though, for a little while...
