I know Tai Goo knives are generally pretty expensive, and I saw one for $350 and thought that was a frickin' steal!!! If I can find link, I will post it, it shouldn't be too hard, but I'm really confused as to why it's been sitting so long.

(I'm not associated in any way with the seller)
But don't these usually go for at least $1000?

That does seem REALLY reasonable for one of his knives.
Maybe it's going for so (relatively) little because it doesn't has his signature look?

Just an idea.
Nice looking knife. I like the blade geometry.

not bad looking, I wonder what the handle material is?

According to the site it is G-10.

This is certainly not what I would envision when thinking of a Tai Goo knife. I have never seen him use G-10 or make a Kydex sheath. That's probably why the knife is not going for a higher price. It is definitely not classic Goo.

must be an old one, before he developed his now very distinctive high-art/primitive style.

Well, I emailed Tai and asked him about the knife. Tai designed it, but it was made by Tygris Co., who are out of business. So this knife is not a Tai Goo custom, it is a production knife.

Thanks for the info, Keith. Much appreciate, still a cool knife though, and probably worth that price.

This is one time that if the eBay ad said that it is a rare knife, they would be correct. I have never seen one of these before.

It was a collabaration with Mike Pick aimed at the MA and LE market, and produced by a 3rd party as a semi production knife. I think $350 was the MSRP on the knife. Tactical Knives did an article a while back and they were advertized in the magazine for a while. I dont beleive the knife has been out of production long, maybe 1 or 2 years.
