how much does it cost to send them in for a resharpening and a new pocket clip through regulated mail?

do you think that they could put a metal pocket clip on the old rescues?

The only charge to you is to ship it to us, insured. That usually runs around $3 or so.
If you specify in a letter inside the package, we can certainly out a metal clip on your knife. We pay the return shipping, and there is no charge for the sharpening or the repair.

Sure, come tour our plant in Boulder, have fun hanging around the boulderites (a WHOLE 'nuther subject altogether)...you'll be lonely though, cause we're all at the Spyderco plant in GOLDEN!

Actually, the protocol of tours is being discussed, and nothing has been decided. I'll keep you posted, as usual...

oh well I think that that will be a long ride to do that after all I live in Iowa where it is hard to get spyderco knifes at a good price and nobody sells the civillian model will spyderco make a smaller version of the civillian but bigger than the harpy?

How much for a spare clip? I think I'd like to retire the really cool but really sticky Kraton clip on my Civilian and go with a standard metal one for a faster draw. My girlfriend's going to be sending her Cricket in for sharpening soon, so let me know a price and I'll put cash or a check (your choice) in the envelope with a little note explaining my needs.

well what about the thread that I had about my problem with my native I have not used it but I had it over 9 months the swedge is off it is not straight what should I do I don't know how to get the picture working so I will need some instructions.
 
While it isn't common, Timmy, it is normal, and won't effect your use of the knife at all, as long as there isn't any play in the blade...

well my wallet is flat though :< that was the essencial reason I had started getting the fakes and for the fact that I loose things easily, but thanks to me buying my first spyderco I have some more responsibility
