How Much Does Your EDC Gear Weigh?

I don't own a scale and don't really pay attention to weight (of my body or my gear), but I was over at my GF's house and saw the scale in the bathroom so I stepped on it to see what it said; later that night I stepped on it again, naked, to see what the difference was.

Weight fully dressed (wearing a light lambskin coat, not my regular heavy spiked leather jacket, which weighs over 10 Lbs, and not carrying a bag): 165 Lbs

Weight naked: 145 Lbs

I would not have guessed it to be 20 Lbs.

Well ... I carry a S&W 325PD strong side and a Colt Detective Special weak side on my belt. There is normally a clip carry knife in right front pocket with my money clip, left pocket has the wallet, a social knife like the Case peanut and lighter. My cell phone is most often carried in the tool pocket of my carpenter jeans but I am wearing 5 pocket jeans it goes in the vest. A 511 vest also carries a Kel-Tec PF-9, 3 full moon clips for the 325PD, two Safariland speedloaders for the Colt, and two mags for the PF-9. Also in the vest are car keys, Surefire light, Ronson torch type lighter, and a pen or two. Keys are on a ring with a DJammer tool which can clear squib loads, stuck cases, etc. It also functions as a kubaton and is threaded for a cleaning brush. Being threaded, I also keep a Bear Broadhead wrapped in a cardboard sleeve in my vest as the threads fit it perfectly as well. The broadhead has been sharpened to the point of putting a razor to shame and I would not hesitate handing it to a doctor for use as an emergency scalpel.

Altogether I would guess I am carrying 15-17 pounds in gear.
