Hi,First post here and I hope I posted in the right place.I have a John Salley, Williams Fighter Knife that I am trying to get a ballpark worth on.It is 12 inches in all and the blade is 7 inches to the gutter. It is made out of ATS-34 and the handle is made out of G-10 I think.I believe it was made in the 80's or early 90's.I don't know how to post pics here but I can send one by email if that helps. Thanks in advance

Come on guys please, any info would be apreciated. This is the only forum that I could think of that could give me some answers.

I bought a Salley "Williams 18 Fighter" like that for $175 direct from John back in '91 or '92. I believe mine had a 5-1/4" blade and a "skull crusher" pommel with excellent grinds, a fine bead-blasted finish, bead-blasted black Micarta scales and a black leather sheath.

AFAIK, Mr. Salley passed away some time ago, so the current value is a tough call. My guess is that the knife is worth what it originally cost new if it's in mint condition, particularly to someone who remembers the rave '91 write-up in Fighting Knives magazine. John also made Bali-songs and some incredibly mean-looking stiletto daggers with brightly anodized handles.
