Don't have pics at the moment, but I picked up a Benchmade 710 McHenry Williams knife with a black combo edge for 92 bucks new at a gun show about 2 years ago. On the side of the blade it says "First Production Run 1 of 1000"

Does that low number make it more valuable??

What do you all say??

You need to have a paying membership to ask about knife prices.

However, If you were to edit your post and just ask, does having a low SN make a knife more valuable, you would probably be alright.

It should be worth what any other 710 is worth. That isn't really number 1 of a 1000. All thousand said the same thing so it wasn't really a serial number. Plus black and combo edge isn't as popular as satin plain edge. I would say you got a pretty good price but you won't get rich trying to sell it.

well... that's disappointing...

Could've been worse. At least you didn't overpay for it.

I suppose this is because it's harder to sharpen??
