How much is this worth?

I have a Rapala "Martini Finland" hunting knife I bought at a galyans a couple of years ago. I noticed that I can't seem to find it anywhere even though it was a nice knife. It had a mirrior polished blade(Nicely done) and a great checkered handled grip. It also has J. Martini Finland laser ecthed to the blade. Sorry I dont have a pic up but my camera isnt working. So if anybody knows about how much this is worth, I would be very happy.

I regulary frequent Bernard Levine's forum and these kind of questions come up all the time. His standard answer -- it's worth what someone is willing to pay. The best way to find that out is to check the world's largest garage sale/flea market -- Ebay. Do a search in the Completed Items area and see if you can find anything similar. If not (and you're not willing to put it up for sale on a No Reserve auction), Mr. Levine will do a valuation for $25, I believe.

Don't be too upset if you find that the value is less than you think. With Antiques Roadshow and its clones out there, we've all started paying closer attention to items that were gathering dust in the attic, hoping for the diamond in the rough. If the 20 million or so people who frequent Ebay don't think its worth what you do, they're probably right.
