I was asking this strange question concerning the Sebenza frame-lock in another thread. I think I arrived a little bit to late... Do you maybe have an idea ?

Thank in advance !
;)

That's kind of open ended, are you talking about EU or US prices? New or used? It also depends on how badly you want one.

There is not alot of diffirence in new US prices, I start to look seriously at used ones when they reach a full $100 off the new price.

My question doesn't concern the Sebenza price. I'm sorry, my first quote didn't works.
Here is my post about frame-lock and my question :

I totally trust my Sebenza frame-lock. It is for me the most reliable system simply because my own fingers push the liner in the locking position when I handle the knife. I can also feel any liner movement and prevent locking failures.

I know a knife doesn't be used as a pry-bar , but I always asked myself how much weight can be applied on the Sebenza handle (in the two dimensions : over and on the side) before something breaks. I think the knife is able to support the maximum force it is humanly possible to develop (with a normal body !!!)... I hope...

Have a nice day ! :D

I think Spyderco once tested the Sebenza together with CRK and got it to break ... don't know how many lbs p/inch they applied. I'm pretty sure it was a LOT! ;):)
