I got a nice surprise today. I went out back, and a friend had put a 100+ pound anvil on the deck for me. Now I won't need to buy one.
The one I have is a Peter Wright of England. rebound is good, I didn't hit it hard, and I didn't get any ringing sound. There is slight separation betweeen the steel top, and the side, but it doesn't appear to go in further.
I started draw filing the top, and it's pretty flat, but will need some work.
Should at least hold me until I find somethign better. Or maybe it's all I need.
Anyone know what I have here, and how I should treat it to get it ready to go?
