...to get a decent (not POS but not Benchmade) balisong? I posted in the WTB forum but nothing so far. It'll be my first, so I just want something in the middle.
 
try picking up a jaguar. you can find them for $15 to $35.
i started with one and still like it alright. i've replaced the pins, and now it's just dandy. :)
also, check out the thread about the chinese stainess bali... i forget the title of the thread... somebody said those were going for $50.

50 bucks is a good price for a decent bali. I started with a BM-239 that cost around 60 at the time and it still is good flipper, but not as good as my 42.
