how much to bring for ABS school?

Hey all, I'm planning to attend the ABS school this may-june time frame,and if i can swing it I will attend both the intro to bladesmithing,and handles and guards courses. I am just looking for a ballpark figure to try to save up to make sure I can sleep and eat occasionally while i'm there. If anyone can give me a rough guesstimate it would be appreciated.
 
a lot is going to depend on where you stay. Motels can be expensive, call ahead for prices. I attended the two week intro course in 2001 and I spent about $1300 for everything, motel stay and school cost....I don't know how much the stay will cost now, and gas prices are 4 times the amount I had to spend also. The one thing I can tell you for sure is the amount of knowledge you will recieve in the 3 weeks you'll be there is PRICELESS, have a great time and take pictures.
 
See if you can stay at the School house. It is barracks style and only the other guys in your class will be bunking there as well. It was 10 bucks a night when I stayed there. Check with Scotty at Texarkana College for the phone number.
