Hey all this is a bit of an ocd question but when I apply tuff cloth to a blade (Just one light coat) do I just leave it to dry or wipe it straight after with a clean rag?? Trivial question I know but I have heard to do both!

I just let it dry. I live in a jungle environment and have a dozen fencing weapons that will rust up while you watch. Rub them down with a tufcloth after fencing and I can leave them for a few months with any sign of rust. Without the tufcloth, they will develop a complete cover of rust within 4-5 days.

That said, I have since switched to FrogLube, and find it to be even more effective. Today I checked four weapons I had left in our club's storage room for the past six months. Not a sign of rust anywhere.
