The knives that are sold on the Internet as well as in the retail stores were only sold at the Manaufactures Suggested Retail Price (no discounts or markdowns offered), what would be the dollar limit you would spend?

Production stuff - no less than $150
Custom pieces - well, the sky is the limit..

I guess that would really depend on what it was I was buying. About the only production knives I still buy are Microtech. So I've spent as much as $300 on a production knife before. I'm not really sure what my limit would be.

Since I am buying a wood inlay Sebenza, that would put my limit for production knives at $500.00-$600.00. My limit for a custom knife would be $1500.00, but I would not be buying alot of knives at that price. Most of the knives I have are under $200.00 for production and under $600.00 for custom.

Highest dollar amounts so far,

"Custom" $655 for a Lile
Production $360 for a HALO III

I guess my average knife purchase probably works out to about $150 to $175 each.
