Looks like I can buy a used, but in reasonably good condition, Schrade 980T 'Old Timer' Stockman. (Made in USA)

What sort of ballpark figure do you guys think I should pay for this?

What would be the max, $5? $10? $50? More?

I know little to nothing about these knives so I have little feeling for what they may be worth. I'm not interested in "investments", I just don't want to be ripped off.

Thanks.

G'day Gajinoz, I will give you the history of the 98OT and without a photo only a ballpark value. The 98OT Ramrod was manufactured 1982 to 1997,so fairly late production. The Old Timer equivalent of the Uncle Henry 897UH with 3 9/16ths" closed length, three blades namely Turkish Clip, spey and sheepfoot. Schrade+ Stainless Steel blades, brass linings and nickel silver bolsters and Old Timer shield...Last catalog price in 1997 was $30.95...possible used value range $20-$25...and would make a great user..but without a photo?....Hoo Roo

A while back I gave one of my nephews an old 897UH. He liked the pattern but wanted carbon steel, so over the course of a year he located a dozen slightly-used 98OTs. He said he paid an average of about $15+shipping.

Thanks for the info guys. I figured that would be about the price range. I'll let you know if I get it.
