How NOT to start fire by friction (expertvillage my @#$#)

Damn, we've been doing it wrong the whole time. Just blink your eyes while mashing down a cotton ball and you've got flame.

Who is behind this expertvillage channel? Every so often someone will post a weird or outright wrong video they've done in multiple areas of "expertise".
 
Is that guy a wizard? I think he's a wizard. That might explain what happened to the cotton ball.

Really I'm not so sure. I say we all start carrying the ENTIRE N.Y.C. SUNDAY PAPER in our ruck sacks from now on. Take out all the silly survival stuff, chuck the knives/saws/hatchets in the nearest garbage can, and forgo any additional gear that just will not fit. Bam...... we gonna do some survivin'.:confused:

BTW..... I want that minute or so of my like back.;)
 
Expert village is notorious for bad videos. They had a real "gem" (sarcasm) or two on knife sharpening.
Also i think they are the ones with the dangerous "how to keep your feet dry" video where (if i remember correctly) they advocated cotton socks over wool in case your feet got cold and wet.
 
Guys,
I am gonna step in here and ask all of you to take it easy on this guy...he is obviously mentally challenged. No joking, he is a few links short of a full chain.
In case you are wondering, look at his Moms back yard, and his Dads old clothes that he is wearing. I for one, am proud of him.;)
