how often do you rotate your edc

i usually carry whats new for a few days but always wind up going back to the mini skirmish unless i travel light then i carry the mighty caly jr. ZDP

never,same gear,same place, everyday

I have updated items over the years but I dont rotate between stuff.
 
My EDC changes almost daily. My Calys are my favorites for work and other places where sheeple roam. The Manix is my favorite for hunting, fishing or camping. When I do home improvement I grab a Byrd because I don't want to damage my Spydies.
 
Rotate EDC M-F just for variety and to learn more about each knife. Some open up quickly, others cut better, others just look nicer.

However, if I know I'm doing a particular task, I'll grab the 'go-to' knife for the task, something field proven.

:cool: Almost everyday work,offwork in casuals-BM710,Fishing with nephews or buddies Griptilian.Out jogging or long walks or just plain exercising Griptilian,Nimravus or Spyderco Manix.
 
When I find a new knife that excites me more.

I'm pretty loyal to a knife until that point. I often carry more than one knife too, so that's where variety comes in. Knife I've carried the most is my 705. That one lasted a long time. Then came the Griptilian 'til I lost it. Shortly after that it became an AG Russell Featherlite. That lasted a little over a year. It got interrupted by an RSK and shortly after that, a 921. The RSK comes along a lot anyway but I like the semi-wharncliffe blade of the Featherlite and the 921 for most of my cutting.

Dress-up days, it was a 705 in CFHS. Then the Benchmite, now the Opportunist, though the other two put in appearances now and then.

For my it usually changes every month or longer. Recently though i've found myself with a buck 110 on belt and cold steel Scimitar IWB.

Ditto!...I grab whatever grabs my eye that morning, have a little felt lined drawer of my EDC knives next to my keys.

I rotate almost daily, like a lot of folks here. Kinda like you, I gotta Gerschner -type chest on my dresser for my EDC gear, and try to carry everything in it once in a while at least.
 
I don't rotate, spin, or dance...I also don't change my EDC...(If it ain't broke, don't fix it.:D.).
 
I don't rotate my EDC. If I did it wouldn't be called EDC (every day carry).

Griptilian 550 and a Victorinox Huntsman.
 
Depending on whether I am working or going to classes. Also if I buy a new folder I throw it into my rotation just to give her a try. I recently bought a Darrel Ralph and it will replace my SNG, and I will carry it and my small sebbie. Sometimes I carry a SAK or a slipjoint if I know I'll be around sheeple and I know I'll be needin a knife.
 
I carried a Gerber EZ out (my first pocket clipped knife) for years, lost it, bought another, carried it for a couple more. Upgraded to a Mini-Grip that I carried for a couple years, then a Ritter Grip for a while, just recently I tossed the Ritter in the drawer and have been carrying a 110 combined with several small "gent's" style pocket carries, a Benchmite, AG Russell small what-cha-ma-callit (titanium and S30V), or one of several others. So, basically, I switch out my EDC when the mood strikes. Got 500 knives to chose from....
