How old are these Case knives???

Hi folks,

I never ever really understood how to determine the production year of a CASE knife.:grumpy:

So can anyone of you please help me?

1. a 6185 Doctor´s knife with red jigged bone handle (1 blade)...not pocket worn, right?

2. a 06263 Eisenhower with amber (that´s just my guess) jigged bone (2 blades)...pocket worn, right?

How much do you think can get for them?:confused:

The doctor is from 2002,

and the eisenhower looks like 2001, but I'm not sure about this one, since the stamp is partly covered.

The Eisenhower has some small scratches on each blade (reverse side of the nail opener)...I think I can buff them out...or better let it be???:confused:

Yeah as I thought, the eisenhower is from 2001.

(case started in 2000 with 5 x's and 5 dots, then in 2001 they removed one dot, in 2002, they removed another dot, etc.. in 2006 the first x was removed, and they'll remove the last one in 2010. After that? Who knows?)

There was a 2001 model of the 6185 ended recently on ebay at $63.00,it had the box with it,another one that said it was new,ended at $30.00.The Eisenhower would probably be about the same.
