How Old is the Kershaw Blur?

I remember my friend got one on his 15th birthday 6 years ago. I think they are a few years older than that too. Man, I was jealous
 
So I have done a bit of research and the earliest mention I can find is in 2003. Never knew they have been around this long, always thought it was a more recent knife. Pretty cool imo
 
Wow, over 10 years. It is a stellar knife and IMHO, like the Griptilian, it will be a knife hard to beat for ergonomics and pure usefulness. The thing that separates it is the fact that because of its slimness, the Blur carries nearly as well as a Large Sebenza. The only semi-production knife I found to be more ergonomic is the XM-18. Not bad for a knife in the $50-$250 range.
