how old is this 110?

just acquired a new Buck 110 in the box w/ paperwork, the blade is stamped "BUCK", the brass has discolored some due to the sheath and there is a small button attached to the outside box that says "Buck Folding Hunter 110, $16.00"

I believe the Buck 110 was designed in 1963, I'd suggest posting in the Buck forums, preferably with a picture:

None, the 110 started in 1963. Curiously enough, $16.00 was the original price of a 110 at that time I believe.

How is the word "Buck" on the blade, at the base running along the bolster, or etched along teh spine of the blade?
