How old (young) are we?

Let me start by saying that I found a forum like this for R/C cars and was given very good advice which ultimately lets one learn and save money through others' wisdom. When I wanted to purchase a good knife I found this forum and asked you. I was directed to the LCC for what I described I wanted and took your advice and ordered. I'll let you all know when it comes in.

While on that forum I posted this question and was amazed at the response! (Please don't take offense to the question of how old or "young" are we?) Trust me it was fun reading about everyone.

I am 39 years old. I've always carried a pocket knife of some sort all my life and literally feel "naked" without one. I was a police officer for about 10 years before becoming disabled through a shoulder injury.

If a question like this has been posted before let me know and I will delete it.

Once again thanks for everyone helping each other. Dave

Dave and others, this question was asked about two weeks ago. I just recalculated the average for 169 forumites responding in the other thread. It is 37 with a standard deviation of 11. Please feel free to continue posting (or reposting) in the original thread so that I can keep track of the numbers more easily.

I would ask that folks NOT POST in this thread anymore.

I did add the four responses in this thread to my list. The new average is STILL 37 with a std dev of 11. This is based on 173 respondants.

Well, here we go AGAIN.

I'm STILL 46, and I carry a knife (Cold Steel Gunsite).

Sorry, I will try to delete this thread. If it dosen't work maybe a moderator could do it for me! Dave

It's NOT a problem Dave. It's a good question, but the other thread is very recent. The general forum is currently lacking an active moderator since the untimely death of our beloved General Forum moderator James Mattis about a month ago.

You can't delete your thread. That function is turned off for users at BFC. I can't lock this one because I only have moderator powers in the community forum.

Please, No more posts in this thread.

Please post responses to the Other age related thread Here
