How old your child, you give a knife first?
Do you tell your child how to kill a man with knife, when you give first knife to your child ? tell about safety is what is must not; if do so, kill or injure.
And if school class do it, how old is good that kill-cook-eat a chiken, a sheep, a rabbit, etc?
 
Hello Ishidasan. I will try to answer some of your questions. They seem odd, but maybe thats because we are from different countries.:D Depending on wether or not your child has grown up around knives and other tools all hisher life you might want to wait till he/she is about seven or so. I think this is a good age to start teaching children the values AND dangers of knives. Take the child out with you show him/her how to use a knife properly. Teach him/her to respect the blade and not take it for granted. I don't know the laws in your country about carrying a knife to school but here in the U.S.A. it is considered a BIG nono. If you hunt, take the child with you and show them how to skin what you've killed. Each thing you show your child how to do with a knife will be ingrained in the minds so becarefull of what and how you teach him/her. As for teaching a child how to kill someone with a knife? No.

I gave my sons knives starting at about age 5. I teach them proper ways to use them and how to take care of them. I tell them to NEVER take them to school, and NEVER to threaten anyone with them. Knives are strictly tools in our family and I would not teach them to hurt or kill with them.

in a TV report I saw that some Kindergarten here in Germany give the children at the age of three every tool like saw, file and knife for carving. Of course after careful introducing them.

I decided to give my son at this knife first time in his hand, but will allow him at the age of 10 daily carry. But the first I will tell him will be, that his pocket knife is NO weapon but a piece of cutlery and a tool. And I will show him weapon-knives are like, I have a little collection of bayonets and daggers.

Most pocket folders are not good for fighting, because they have no handguard. If you try to stab someone with your folder, you mostly will cut your own hand first. So in situation of defence, it will be better keep the folder closed and push it into your enemys face.
