how quick does a gold membership apply itself

I bought the same membership on Friday and Sat. night my status changed to gold.:thumbup:

Click your User CP, go to Group Memberships, and select Gold.

where is group memberships under cp? i cant find it

If you look to the left you will see a section that says "your profile."
Scroll down a bit to the next section and you will see "Networking."
3rd down in that list you will see group memberships.
Click on that and click on the section to identify you as a gold member.
Then hit update display group.
That should get you taken care of.
