To be more specific, I'm curious as to how many were made for each GW models.

I think they are quite rare or pretty close to rare, since once they are released, I don't see them very much anywhere on the on-line shops, but buy & sell markets...

Do anyone have the knowledge on the number of the wardens made?

If you count all of the different cominations, there were quite a few made, but as to each type, no one really knows but Jerry, and I guess Scott (idahoskunk), who runs the Company Store. It is rumored that the number varies for each type.

I CAN tell you for sure that there were MORE than 27 black skeleton Game Wardens... :foot: lolz

The only place you will reliably find them for sale is on the exchange here on this forum, and occasionally on ebay.

I got mine here on the busse exchange sub forum. You just have to wait around and keep an eye on the exchange and pounce when you see you want.

Not very rare at all...generally speaking. Some of them are damn hard to find. Others are like a bag of Doritos. There are countless GW's on the exchange right now.

Which one are you looking for?

I got a good deal on a #22 urban warden and just received it today and come to think why wardens are so hard to find as well as all the other Busse models... Is it because of the limited quantity they produce or that they just don't want to have not more than one on-line dealer?

I plan to beat the heck out this knife and before I do that I just wanted to know the numbers of this particular model just for the sake of curiosity... since the fact that this knife will be a beater is not going to change.

I'm curious as to other models as well, but it seems Nobody knows for sure on that... i doubt even Jerry Busse knows the exact numbers 'cause I'm not so sure he wasn't drinking while he was working:D:D

We have a winner !

Welcome

Aftermarket prices are as low as they have ever been on the GW's.
There was very many models made and a Ton out there.

Grab one off the exchange now if you want one. I've seen some at near cost. Some are more rare and will be hard to find and much more expensive, like the .140 green linen for instance.

I like the .140's with micarta, or the .170. I wouldn't want a knife that small any thicker. Some like the fatties though.

BTW- I don't have any I want to get rid of, but know two hogs that have plenty they want to move. If you decide which you want, and can't find it send me a PM or email and I'll give you there name.

Thanks a lot, Ken44.

Once this incurable desease gets worse, I'll definetely use your help:)

by the way, this urban warden is really nice:thumbup:

All the above, generally true.

Rarest GWs?

Undoubtedly the few Sterile Punkins that snuck out there (I know I love mine!!).

And then you're down to common stuff like Satin/Green Linen, the original LE (Satin/Snake) ... that sort of stuff.:)

I'd bet the GW has the highest production numbers of any Busse Combat knife ever.

They were produced in every blade color/handle combination under the sun.

However, the reason you don't see any is that everyone is enjoying using them.

Truly an affordable, practical user.
