How rare is a CF, serial-numbered, Civilian SE?

I saw one at a gun show this past weekend, but didn't have the $$$ to get it :( :grumpy:....yet. The dealer lives in a town about two hours from me and I may take a little trip if/when I can save up the money for it.

Hopefully, he'll still have it when I'm ready(work has been slow), since he's retiring he is reducing all his Spydie inventory.
This CF #'d Civvie was only $125, what do you think, is the price reasonable for this serial-numbered Spydie?

Of course, the price is worth it!!! I just hope that he will hold on to it for me. :(

That sounds reasonable. If he doesn't hold it for you, try John Jensen's. He still has serialed PE and SEs listed for $137.00. His site is johnfjensen.com

Gotcha! Was thinking we may know the same retiring dealer. Mine's hanging onto a Klotzli CF Walker and I'm hoping for a price break here in DFW. Best of luck on the C07 CF! Let us know how things work out there.

I usually do business with Glasshartt in El Paso, but this dealer is from Victoria. I'm going to have to check out the next gun show at the end of November and see if he's there. ;)

If it were me, I'd contact the last gun show promoter to get info on the dealer & call him. His price is MORE than reasonable for a new one. Maybe you could do the deal via mail & save the gas $$.

Personally, part of the fun is in the finding of these great deals!

I think I know this dealer. I see him at the HGCA shows in Houston. He is a good man, and will be missed.
