Any CQC-11 owners out there? Please post your pics!

I am looking for one but have no idea what the prices are supposed to be on these lately.

Ikes! GORGEOUS~!

Do you like that blade? Do you carry it?

How does it compare to a similar models like the Journeyman which has a similar shaped blade?

I bought mine a few years ago,
with a black blade. Very nice knife.
I don't carry it any more because
it is to big a knife.

*Was an owner. The fucker who scammed it off me can go to hell.
If you don't mind tantos, the SOCFK-B is a good alternative. Same handle style.

They're hard to come by these days. I got a SOCFK-A instead, and although the Journeyman is about 3/4" longer, they both feel about the same in-hand with the SOCFK/11 coming out a bit ahead on ergos and handle comfort.

I'll try to do some comparison pic's of my 11 and some others. It is a big blade, but is more blade efficient than some other EKI designs. And to answer your earlier questions, yes I love the blade, especially the high hollow grind Mr. Krein put on it. I do carry this one and it was actually my first Emerson.

Really? The Journeyman is 3/4" longer? Well!... maybe I don't need to get the CQC-1 then! I just sold my CQC-8 because it was a shorter than the Journeyman and they had slightly similar blade shape . It seems like the Journeyman fill that niche for me with a longer straighter blade in the Emerson lineup (I don't like having to many similar models). I also don't like short blades and long grips. I think it gives to much away. I wish Emerson would make a knife similar in geometry to a Benchmade 710 where you get a lot of knife blade length in an appropriate grip length ratio.

Yes and I wish Krein was still doing his regrinds. I love his work.
I had some done by him years ago and then sold them before he stopped. If he was doing them today, I would get every single one of my knives done by him.

So stop teasing me with your "KREIN" regrinds..lol!

Journeyman Blade Length: 3.6"
CQC 11 Blade Length: 4.10"
Super CQC 8 Blade Length: 4.25"

Sorry for the confusion, I meant to say that the Journeyman is about 3/4" longer than the SOCFK-A. The 11 is even longer than the Journeyman.
