How should I carry my fixed blade EDC knife?

(I'm not a native english speaker, sorry for my poor knowledge)

I'm wondering, how should I carry my smallest fixed blade knife. It must be concealed while carrying.

My knife full lenght is 17 cm (with the leather sheath). The width of the sheath is approx. 3,5-4 cm. The only problem is, the sheath can be carried only horizontal, which make the concealing difficult. The only way what I see is wearing the sheath on my back of the hip attached to my belt.

In cold weather it seems easier to conceal the tool, but in the summer? I must hide it in a bag?

Do you have any technique carrying a knife in a horizontal sheath?

P.s. I don't wanna use other knives.

You could have somebody make you a Kydex Sheath with a Tek Lock Adapter, so you can rotate the sheath into the ideal position.
Parallel with the belt and the shirt above should work well.

Also Fogadtatas (I hope thats right :D)
Your English is perfectly fine

Fogadtatás is not a greeting, but Hello (Szia, Szervusz, Hello, Üdv etc...). :D

And what if I don't want to use an other sheath? The only two ways is wear it on the front and the back of my hip? :/

Consider a sheath made to wear inside the waistband either by clip, or belt loops, or even a static cord.

You don't have pockets? I carry fixed blades concealed in my pocket frequently. You can even attach a clip to the sheath for an easier ride. Please share a few images of the knife+sheath with us and we can better offer aid.

If you have baggy pockets, and if your sheath is suitably thin and close-fitting, a knife the size of yours should carry easily in a front pocket. I have an Anza about the size of your knife that I have carried in a front pocket off and on for nearly forty years. A Mora is a bit bigger, but because it is so light, I can carry it comfortably in a front or rear pocket, in its sheath, of course.

Another small Anza that came with a cross-draw sheath carries comfortably and unobtrusively to the left of my belt buckle under an untucked shirt. Unfortunately, the belt loop on the sheath is too bulky for comfortable pocket carry.

A bare-tang knife like a Grimalkin or Mini Skrama also lends itself to pocket carry.

yah, making a small pocket sheath is one of the easiest leather projects, and the result is very useful, even if it isn't 100% perfect stitching

If you wear long pants and boots, a boot sheath would provide the concealment you are looking for. I have never tried that so I have no idea about comfort of a boot knife.

I live in a place where it is legal to carry a knife or gun openly but most people don't. Sadly, some people don't have experience with those things and feel uncomfortable or scared around them. So I think it is polite to conceal. The clip on a folding knife seems okay. That makes carrying a folder convenient but I still carry fixed blades some of the time.

I have experimented with vertical IWB (carrying with the sheath inside the pants and the handle concealed by a shirt). With the right kind of sheath, it can work well for knives of the right size and shape. There are trade-offs though. First, it can change what kind of shirt you wear or how you wear it. Second, comfort really is dependent on those size and shape issues being just right. Third, I don't know about you but I tend to sweat a little.

I sometimes carry a small fixed blade horizontally. Too long of a knife can be uncomfortable or impractical this way. I've found that 16-18cm is okay for right next to my belt buckle. Like my knives, I have a little belly and that really helps to make it nondescript. Something like this would require a new sheath and preferably kydex with a good clip. If your knife is expensive or has sentimental value, it might be worth it.

The obvious choice has already been stated. You could just put the sheathed knife in your pocket. I do this sometimes. Under 20cm with the right profile seems to work well. There is only one issue for me. I like one-handed operation for daily knife tasks. Some knives are easy to draw from sheath and pocket together. Most knives require both hands (or a lot of care) in returning to the sheath this way.

One of the few knives I've found comfortable carrying horizontally is my Bradford Guardian 3 which is close in OAL to the knife referred to in the OP. I carry it in front of my weak side hip with the handle towards my belt buckle. In the summer it's easily covered by a tee shirt.
I tried carrying IWB once, didn't need stitches but there was plenty of blood:eek:

If I'm doing the math right the knife is pretty small about 6.5" in it's sheath, why not just wear your shirt untucked and let it cover the knife.

You might try making a small kydex sheath for it and attaching an ulticlip. It can clip to your pants pocket for pocket carry or you can carry appendix inside your waistband.
