How solid is the lock-up with Bencmade's button locks?

I cant find any info on peoples experience with the question in the title. I have my eye on the Benchmade 4300-1. Its either this knife or a Benchmade 551-1. I don't know if I like the idea of spending more money on a knife with softer steel and more blade play. That black and green g-10 looks sweet though.
