How strong are Spyderco linerlocks?

All Spydercos I have are backlocks or compression locks.Have had some problems with couple linerlocks from other companies recently, and was wandering whats your experience with linerlocks made by Spyderco.Knives Im mostly interested how they lock up are Gale Bradley, Lum tanto and Military!

I have not had a problem with my Tenacious, but I've only done light work. I have not tried to cut a tree with it like someone has done with an Endure.

The Gayle Bradley is built like a tank, including the liner lock. It's thick steel that's used and it's rock solid and even feels overbuilt. The only other Spidey liner lock I own is the Sage 1, and I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever.

i have four military models in different configurations. liner and frame. i have never had a problem. i can't really see how a spyderco liner or frame lock would fail. being hard use a person puts more stress on the knife pushing the blade open putting pressure on the stop pin and area. trying to force the knife closed without pushing the line aside could possibly be a problem...but why would a person do that? the PM2 compression lock absolutely vault tight. i can't see it failing under normal or hard use. i had militaries before the PM2 and i didn't really understand all the super fuss about a PM2 since the military was/is awesome. then i got one. it is all the rage.

I've had multiple Gayle Bradleys, Sage 1s, and Militaries over the years. The liner locks have never had the first problem.

Of the GB, mili and tenacious.
The tenacious and mili have been the most solid for me. I have had to repair 2-3 GB locks that would fail a medium spine whack and torquing and that is a no no for any hard use.
I carbidized (carburized) the lock face on them and that made them impeccable.
I DO assume this is an isolated incidents, but it did fix it without a doubt.
Over all they are great. It is more about lock geometry than thickness when it comes to strength and they are all really great.

I'm not hard on my knives in normal, every day use. I own Gayle Bradley, Military, Ambitious, Persistence and Resilience as well as a Sage 1...probably others I can't remember right now. I've only had liner locks fail on cheap knives--Taylor made S&W and a Chinese Gerber that I remember. But any lock can fail given how the knife is used so I can't say failure would not happen. I've read tests of the Al Mar SERE 2000 that had lock failure and the SERE is one of the tightest knives I've ever owned. If BellaBlades could torque a Gayle Bradley enough to make the lock fail, anything could happen given the right circumstances.

The Gayle Bradley really is an overbuilt knife. the liners and lock are thicker than on a military or sage. Unless defective I don't think there is a stronger liner lock than the Bradley around. 100% confidence in mine. I have never had any issues with my military liner locks either although one of mine makes a squeeky metal on metal sound when depressed.
