How the heck did I do this?

I have no idea how I snagged my pocket clip on my Zaan and creamed it. It's a user bought here a while ago, a regular and beloved part of my rotation. Anyone know where I can get a Ti deep carry clip like this? I prefer deep or submerged carry almost exclusively. Any help is appreciated.

You are going to have an absolute night mare getting a new lowrider clip, but you can just bend it back so there is really no need for a new clip any way. I did the very same thing to my Umnumzaan not so long ago with the standard CRK clip.

Can't that simply be bent back to the proper shape? I've bent several clips, and I've always just removed them, fixed them, and put them back on.

I did bend it back but it just doesnt seem to have the same spring pressure. I tried overbending it but somehow it just seems weaker. Bummer that the deep carry clips are hard to find. If anyone knows where to get one help a brotha out.

I bent my regular Umnum clip almost as bad as yours and was able to get it bent back to the correct tension. It took some trial and error but I finally got it. If you stick with it and have a little patience you'll get it bent back.

Keep trying. Wow! Don't give up though, echo, you should be able to bend it back with, ahem, some effort

I have a spare standard clip if you'd like it, but I assume you have one too.

Yea, that is a possible problem with that big access hole in the top. The Ti will be degraded at those points where it's thinest from the first bend and bending it back to shape, that will be where it snaps if it happens again.

This thread has the pics of my clip accident....
