How the hell did I miss the Ganzaaa??!

OMG, it just became a bittersweet day...So I took my new wife & in-laws to Disneyland today (just got married Friday!). When I read the Cupidganzaaa post this weekend, I took a mental note and somehow mixed things up enough to tell myself that there were no conflicting in-law plans and that I'd be able to get in on the ganzaaa.

I just now am getting home from an awesome day at Disneyland with the woman I love and her beautiful family only to see that I missed the GO!

bit of a bummer since I was pretty stoked on getting a SWATmandu, a MOABolo and probably a B8 as well, but oh well...looks like it'll be the secondary market for me.

I'd miss another Ganzaaa if I could marry her again, so I'm still smiling :)

Good luck to all you lucky HOGs and piglets! I hope you all score everything that you desire!

+1 to sending a late email just in case. It has worked out for me before. Good luck

I missed it because I forgot to take into account different time zones. Was 2 hours late :(

I think it's only late if there are limited numbers; but if it's an offering, they might be making what orders they get.

I agree...send it in! Good luck!

CONGRATULATIONS ON FINDING A BABE WHO SAID YES!

I was lucky enough to be married last September and have my son born on December 26. Do the math if you want... ;)

Send the email now. I would if a B8 was what I wanted. Couldn't hurt eh?

Congrats again bro!

Habib & tinfoil hat timmy, Congratulations on your marriages, and on the birth of your son for THT! I am sure you had more fun at Disney than at a ganza. While I have never been to Disneyland, Disney World in Florida is amazing – they have 4 different parks plus a separate dining/shopping area called Downtown Disney; each park is a lot of fun. Send that email for the ganza, it might not be too late.

+3! I did it a few Gaanzaa's ago and scored!
Its worth a try! Not like it costs you anything if you don't score. ;)

Hey everyone, well, I sent a email. Thanks for the encouragement to send them an email anyway...you're all totally right in that I could still have a chance at what I want. We'll see what they say...

And thanks for the kind words guys! 3 years ago, I would have told you that being married (or still breathing for that matter...) is the last thing I would have expected to happen, but I'm really grateful that life has brought me to this point. She is my perfect partner, our families love each other, and there's nobody else I could imagine starting a family with- but I probably won't do it as quickly as tinfoil hat timmy did ;)

yes bro, I did the math and...nice, uh...how do you say this...umm, equations! Blessings to you and your family :)

Congratulations on your happy nuptials, Habib!

BTW, just talked to a fellow member who successfully ordered a B8 this afternoon, so it's good you gave it a go.

Yup, I was thinking more in an addition type way, such as:

For instance, if a Hog were to buy 32 B-8's @ $10 savings per blade that would be a total net savings of $320...

In essence, "Buy 32, Get 1 Free!" :p

:highly_amused: lol....that's a great way to look at it, why didn't I think of that before ;)

Strange enough, I ended up deciding to pass on the B8 and am now holding out for the arrival of the B13! You know it's coming guys...it may take a 300 page thread, but we can make it happen!

Thanks Garth

Don't worry. Disney will be happy to take whatever cash you don't spend on knives. I love disneyworld and Disneyland but always get sticker shock. Still worth it for the good memories. Still shock and awe at the bill.

Woohoo! Haven't gotten an official confirmation quite yet, but little pieces of evidence are indicating that I may be in!

Thanks again for the recommendation guys!

Come to me, sweet MOABolo....I can almost taste you!
