How to add Email?

Hey, i have realized that when someone posts on a thread i can click on their profile name and then several options come up one of which is email. I belive that this option doesn't come up for me, which has cost me a benchmade seatbelt cutter and another tool because i wasn't able to be reached. How can i fix this? I went to settings, and it says that my email is enabled and public to bf members, but it doesn't appear. I'm quite confused, and any help is very appreciated!

Top right click settings then on the left hand side click general settings. Then make sure you click receive emails and save.
