How to adjust the SEAL Pup sheath...

My SEAL Pup sheath (kydex) is extremely tight- the sheath comes right with the knife if I only use the boot clip to hold it to my belt.
How do I loosen it up?

Hi Chrisian,

The Kydex is adustable to allow the end consumer to tweak it slightly. If it is tight, pull the lip of the sheath outward about a 1/3" and hold that position for about ten seconds. Then try your knife. If it is still tight, repeat that process until you get it where you would like it. Do not pull out too far or you will crease the Kydex materia. I have heard some people prewarm the sheath with a hair blower.

put some vasoline on the edge of the handle up near the blade. That worked on mine.
