How to attach Metal Pocket Clips for Kydex!

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good source to order metal clips. What I want to do is attach the metal clip to a kydex sheath for pocket carry etc....

Also, how are the clips typically attached to the kydex for a clean look. Are they screwed on or attached with rivets?

Hey Guys...

To be quite honest the standard metal belt/boot clips that you see on most leather sheaths are not nearly strong enough to hold a kydex sheath securely..

I have only seen one clip that even comes close to holding a kydex sheath in place on a draw,, and you are Very limited to belt size with it...

Why not just install a G-clip on the sheath, and you'll know that it's held in properly...

Hey Terry....

A g-clip is a folded over piece of kydex, when you look at it from the side it looks like a Capital G

G-clip in this picture is top right.

It is a Very secure system that I've been using since I started and that others have been using long before that...

It can also be flipped over to use for OWB carry...
Very versatile belt loop...

Normark I will give the G clips a try. Do you make those yourself? If so, how does one going about making them?
