not sure if this is the best place to ask this question as i am new here but i am taking up trying to learn how to make knives and ran into a bit of an issue. i bought some black impala horn scales and am trying to figure out how to attach them mechanically without screwing up the scales themselves. this mainly an issue due to the scales having ridges. i haven't been able to figure out a way yet to get a pin though them and sand in down or peen them because of these ridges. any advice would greatly appreciated.
