So I want my 25 to have silver lugs instead of the blue. I'm sure its pretty easy to do so but I'm not sure how to do it.
I don't have a dremel or fine sandpaper, I have a bottle of flitz and some other house hold items. Any suggestions or
tips on how to do so would be appreciated.

There was a thread on this recently. But I believed they used a dremel. I think also the flitz might work, but isn't it more like a polish...?? I only ever got it with a couple knives years ago and just remember it being a paste like brasso. I do think in the recent thread that the gentleman used the flitz and just some elbow grease he said, but I haven't tried it. I am thinking "0000" fine steel wool would work also, just rub it in it back and forth or put it around the stud and just turn back and forth. That's how I was going to do it. I don't have any here to try. Its super fine as that's what I use on my woodworking to make the varnish smooth. It does polish things too a nice sheen on other items I have used it on. Let me know how you make out because I too prefer silver studs to blue honestly.

I always used Flitz and a rag. Make sure to tape around the thumb stud or it will polish the blade as well.

Will it polish the backspacer too and make it all silver....??? Where do you get it at, anywhere special....???

Yes it will work on the backspacer too. I think I got at Lowe's or somewhere like that?

This is a must or you will end up getting a "machine turned" looking score round the thumb stud. I would probably use a bit of high grit sand paper rather than a polish my self. If you go with 1200 or 1500 you will take the blue right off and you will be able to get into those corners of the steps much easier. That said, anything that works will work, there seems to be a few different ways people have removed the blue. :)

Helpful tip, take a piece of painters tape and use a single hole punch. The thumbstud of a large 21 fits perfectly through the hole in the tape. Maybe it'll work for the 25, too.
(not a fan of the blue either)

Thanks for the help =)
Had a hard time getting all the blue out the grooves but with
a little patience it turned out great. Absolutely love the 25.

Did mine this afternoon with Flitz and my dremel/buffing disc at lowest speed. Flitz your fingertip the spread around the disc. Protect your blade with 1 layer of painters tape. (I punched a whole in the tape on our 3 hole paper punch then placed the tape over the stud.)
It took less than 5 minutes per stud to polish out.
