Hello,
I would try to make a framelock of titanium and G1O.Is it possible to make a handle without a second titanium liner in opposite of the locking titanium part ?
In other words one handle piece of titanium and one of G1O.Should this be strong enough?
One end of the stopping pin should be fixed in the G1O and the other of course in the titanium.I have seen this before in some knives of Dwaine Carillo.(I am sure he is not the only one but I can't remember others.)
What's your opinion about it?What's important to make the knife strong enough?
A good review should be helpful;
Feedback wanted !

I gonna check them also.
Please knifepeople give some advice.I am a beginning knifemaker and all info is welcome.

Strider does it, and I don't know of many people who claim that Striders are weak.

I'm pretty sure the only person that does put a liner on the G-10 side is Rick Hinderer on his newer model, can't remember the name.

Not only is it possible.....
IT IS NOT EVEN NEEDED! LOL!....
Take a look at CRKT KISS knives, created by Ed Halligan.
A frame lock, and only one slab.

the spyderco military has just one liner and G10 on the other side and it seems plenty strong for most uses

If I recall, G10 is actually quite literally bullet proof. I would imagine that if a reasonable thickness of G10 can deflect a bullet, it can hold up as a linerless handle.

Thanks it looks to be strong enough to use only G10 on the opposite side of the framelock.What about the stoppin.I would like to use an standard stoppin from knifekits.Is ths enough or do I need something bigger?
