Here is a Fox Statler video on how to skin a squirrel. My father knows and has fished (flyfish) with him. He is a school teacher, yes he is educated, and is the purest sample of good old AR redneck. I got so tickled watching this. Fox is a piece of work. Thought all here would enjoy it and may walk away with some good knowledge.

Ross: I enjoyed your thread - a good one. I usually carry just a knife and small pruners to cut off the feet and the head. Works best if you clean the squirrel as soon as he hits the ground and is still warm......especially on the big old tough males. I put the carcasses in a big garbage bag and wash em off when I get home.

Great video! That guy is awesome. Reminds me of a lot of people I knew growing up in rural Oklahoma.
 
Great video, thanks for sharing. Reminds me of the good ol' fellas who would take us kids out huntin' & fishin'. (I have the same cleaver he has, I believe it's a Cattaraugus.)

I've never laughed out loud like this before watching a video. That guy was great. I'd LOVE to have him as a teacher. Thanks for sharing. That video is a keeper.
