I got this Jester on eBay and it's pretty dingy and dirty. I gave him a good scrubbing in hot, soapy water but he's still pretty grungy. Anyone have any tips on cleaning up old FRN? Thanks much in advance.

(His serrations are in pretty bad shape, too, but I'm thinking/hoping I can send him in to Spyderco and ask the good folks there to get him sharpened back up.)

^yep. i cleaned a nasty glock frame with weapons shield and a toothbrush. key being no solvents to eat up the plastic. ended up looking like new.

WD-40 will likely work. If it doesn't try Dawn or Palmolive with a hefty dose of Oxiclean.

Bar Keepers Friend cleaned up my grey Cruwear Manix.
That is G10 but I'm sure it would do ok on frn.

Haven't tried it but gojo type hand cleaner and toothbrush might do well, and it'll rinse clean with water.

I clean dirty knives with kitchen degreaser - that thing does wonders. After that you will have to put some lube on the pivot area.
