Is there a way to send a message to any available moderator? Like a general mailbox .thanks.
probably obvious ,but I cant find it.

Yes. The little triangle with the exclamation point on the lower left of the offending post.

Since you can send private messages that would be the easiest way.

You can message a mod the same way you would contact anyone else.Click on their name then select "email" or "private message" from the drop down menu.

Rycen and jtr Thanks!
I guess what I'm saying is if it's 2am and I don't want to wait until the next day for an answer when people wake up , and don't have currently online mods in my friends ... Is there a page then to where I can see who is currently online for mods... I'm starting to think that this feature doesn't exist. OK well guess I better start adding mods to my contacts.

If you go to any subforum & scroll down, there will be an area on the bottom stating "moderators of this forum" showing them.Click on their name to go to their profile & if there's a green light next to their name, that means they are active on the forum.Sorry for the run on sentence LOL.

Here's the General Knife Discussion main page. You'll see on the bottom :

Moderators of this Forum
Mark Williams, bladsmth

Hope this helps

Not all of us have our online status light on, some of us sneak around. Just report the item in question, it can be anything from trolling, insults to blatant cell phone/electronics spam, or even a misplaced thread that needs moving to the right place. Someone will see it sooner rather than later.

That's right RevDevil.I forgot about invisible mode.FWIW I don't think he's talking about reporting a post.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like the report a thread option is my bet for contacting any available online mod. Appreciate the help!
Yes jtr I'm not talking about reporting thread. For example late last night I was posting a sort of odd item for trade (vintage handsaw) and was unsure where to post this trade. So I was looking for an online mod to shoot a quick pm to after 20m of searching I just posted it lol. I saw the contact us email address at bottom of page but that appeared to go more to the business side of the site.
The report thread solution is fine it sends my message to the first available mod. I just think they should have a "contact moderators" button maybe under "forum actions". For non reporting issues.

I think that sounds like good idea now that you mention it. It would be nice if Spark were able to add something like that, the software may or may not allow it. He just updated to a newer version of software a little over a week ago, once the bugs get worked out I'd be for it.
Coincidentally, you can always send up a PM, my email is on so you can also email me if you need to. If I cannot help, i can forward to someone that can. I get lots of email and PM from members here with questions and concerns, always glad to help when and where I am able.

I know it may not be my place, but I always try & help out in tech support when I'm able.I remember what it was like being a noob without a clue of what goes where.

This is a community, so it's very much appreciated when folks help one another. Never a problem with that aspect. Thanks much, John.
