How to cut Redwood burl?

I have a longtime friend that I am doing a little trade with for some burl. His father was a burl logger and he inherited some large pieces of burl. He was going to cut some up and send it to K&G . He was going to try to do enough that he would have enough to sell to make our project revenue neutral. He got a bandsaw from harbor freight and any help about how to cut it right would be really helpful. There is a limited supply of material and he is on a fixed income.
