How to drill and tap to add clip?

Question from an amateur here... I'm wondering how difficult it would be to drill and tap and stainless steel handled Benchmade knife (Balisong 41ss). I have a drill and tap set and drill bits (carbide maybe - don't remember), though I've never used it before, and I have plenty of extra clips and screws. Any thoughts?

It's not that difficult, but most of the screws for clips are 2x56 or 1x72 and they can be tricky.
If the handle hasn't been hardened, find a place where the clip fits, drill the appropriate size hole for the tap and tap it. Use plenty of cutting oil and go slow and steady. If the material is thick, you can drill some of the hole out to a larger size and tap only the smaller hole part.
